This wine is bright and complex with notes of red cherry, pomegranate, and cedar on the palate, with fresh raspberry aromas and a long, silky finish. Grapes for this Pinot Noir come from Santa Barbara County, where brilliant sunshine and coastal breezes create wines with complexity and balance. Santa Barbara wine country is situated between two mountain ranges with elevations extending from 200 feet in the valley to 3,400 feet in the hillside vineyards. The chill of the fog and breezes in the region help prolong the growing season, which allows grapes to fully ripen without excessive sugar levels and makes wines from this region elegant and unique.

Segno is a culmination of three decades of work in the Cirò DOC spanning four estates with a profound interest and understanding of our territory. Obtained from single-variety Greco Bianco grapes, this is a fresh, fruity and pleasant white. Its color is straw yellow, with a tempting, vinous bouquet coupled with a dry, balanced, delicate, lively and characteristic taste. New techniques have resulted in wines with a subtle, almost floral and mature fruit taste. In the hands of good wineries, this wine can be quite convincing/persuasive.
